Process quality control (PQC)
Quality assurance during injection moulding
Seminar objectives
Teaching the necessary basic requirements for optimal quality monitoring during injection moulding. The participant is able to determine the given specification limits with the associated process parameters, which have an effect on the quality characteristics of the moulded part. He/she masters the necessary documentation with the help of quality assurance programmes and is able to recognise and eliminate occurring disturbance variables.
Seminar content
- Strategies for optimising the injection moulding process
- Moulded part properties, machine optimisation with corresponding process parameters
- Setting specific limits with ENGEL Micrograph, process data graphics and process data monitoring
- Viscosity monitoring with ENGEL Microplast
- Documentation of production with ENGEL process data log
- Practical exercises on an injection moulding machine
Duration of seminar
2 days
Target group
Foremen, production managers, process optimisers, sampling personnel and quality assurance staff
Prerequisites
Good knowledge of plastics and injection moulding technology, seminars MO-L1, MO-L2 and PPS
